B-Side Studios

B-Side Studios is a transitional apartment building for families facing a housing crisis. Two 2-Bedroom apartments are available for qualified applicants. Once a family is accepted into the studios program, they are paired with a trained “life advocate” who works with them to address the issues that are hindering the family from having a permanent place of residence. B-Side works with other local agencies to assure that all community resources are considered. Rent is based on the family’s income and the majority of rent paid to B-Side is put into a savings account to pay for the family’s future housing costs including a security deposit and the first months rent. Upon completion of the program we assist the residents in finding an apartment and moving in.
